Karl Wilhelm is a young boy living a miserable life as a circus tricks magician in the streets of London, he resents his father for refusing to teach him real magic for fear of supposed danger, and vows to learn real magic on his own Karl stumbles upon an elf ghost girl trapped in the world of man after falling from her dimension on a secret mission to take down a wanderer. Through her, Karl finds his escape to the other realm of Celestra, the world of magic. Karl learns and develops his newly found abilities, including the Azareal system that helps him ascend to the greatest levels of sorcery, but he soon discovers that this new world has a much darker destiny in store for him
