Mark lived on the earth as a 22-year-old boy, living and earning by playing video games 24/7. He doesn't have any friends and does not want one. He loves staying in his house and leave only to buy groceries.
One day an abnormal event happened. The whole world blacked out for 15 seconds and came back to normal after. This event was all over the news, but nobody knew what caused such a phenomenon.
The next day when people woke up, they see a popup on their screen with their information, levels, and stats.
People were confused while watching the news. It announced that their world changed. Now, people are in a world of a video game called Into the Shadow, where they will earn by doing everyday tasks.
After three months in the situation, gates starting to appear. People's skills and intelligence will improve depending on how many quests they have had finished. Mark joined as a Gate hunter on one of the guilds in the Shadow World behind the gates and continued his life. Why did this happen? Will the Mark be able to live in this world? Can they go back to their old world?
