Chapter 1
The Uninvited Guest
Year 2557, P15 Unit, California.
“P15 reporting, everything under control. Over.” The guard in charge reported to the headquarters.
“Report received over and out.” The other end replied.
The guard sat back on his post, overlooking the vast screen ahead of him. P15, was the newly established portal control unit. The job of the unit was to overlook the activities in the portal that connects the two dimensional world. Unlike the other 14 portal, this portal was surveyed as the portal that connects a different world with the earth.
“Everything, fine?” the other guard who came for his shift asked the guard in-charge.
“Yeah. I don’t think we will have any work here at all.” The guard sitting on his post replied.
“That’s why I shifted to this unit. There was a lot of strain on the transporting teleporting.” The other guard replied. Both of them smiled at each other, suddenly a red light appeared on the screen.
“Random movement observed.” The mechanical voice of the computer spoke.
“What?” the guard at the post exclaimed. The guard selected the camera of the portal chamber. The portal was switched on automatically.
“Report the security system for me.” The guard on the post asked the other guard. The other guard nodded and rushed outside.
The guard on post rushed towards the radio command and dial the headquarters. In few seconds the other side responded.
“P15 reporting. Unusual movement at the portal. Over.”
“Are you sure? Over.” The other side asked.
“Dead sure. We may have uninvited guests. Over.” The guard replied.
“Sending Emergency Backup team. Over.”
“Be quick. Over and out.” The guard hung up and looked at the screen. His eyes were filled with surprise.
The armed and protection unit rushed towards the portal chambers. The commander ordered everyone to take the defence position and aim at the portal. Few moments passed the movement in the portal was consistent.
“Why don’t we switch the power off?” One of the soldier suggested.
“The reason we are here is it is off. The thing which is trying to enter our world is stronger to generate power on itself.” The commanding officer replied.
The movement in the portal stopped and the AI on the portal spoke in its mechanical voice, “Teleportation successful. We hope you enjoy the journey.”
Everyone in the room aimed at the portal, the frontal defence shield was on alert. Moments passed but nothing happened, the commanding officer looked at the portal, and then at the defence officer. The defence officer shrugged his shoulders.
“Is this portal alright?” One of the soldier asked.
“It must be technical fault. Have it checked up?” the other one replied as they lowered their aim.
“The air seems tense here.” A manly voice spoke. Everyone in the room looked at the portal.
“Guards Position.” The Defence officer commanded. A manly figure approached out from the portal, he was wearing strange clothes, it seemed to be raw leather from animal. The man was tall, he looked sturdy, his hair were brown and eyes were blue like the ocean water, his looks were enchanting and so was his voice, sturdy but low and impacting.
“Huh. Not the welcome I expected.” The man replied.
“Hands back on the head and knee down, if you don’t want us to shoot.” The defence officer said.
“What place is this?” The man looked around, “A research lab?”
“I said hands back.” The defence officer shouted.
“What year is this again? 2057 or 58?” The man spoke touching the small power platform near him.
“You left us with no choice. This is the last time I say, hands back.” The defence officer shouted.
“I must get some clothes first.” The man talked to himself and walked towards the formation.
“Fire.” The defence officer shouted. The formation fired at him. The man still walked with his pace. He waved his right hand and the bullets fell on ground. The next round of fire began and he waved his other hand and the bullets fell on ground.
“You are in my way.” The man spoke as he punched in empty air towards them. The formation fell apart, as if it was pushed with the immense strength of an typhoon.
The man walked in between the fallen soldiers of the unit. The defence officer pulled out his gun and fired shot at him as he walked past by him. The man easily dodged the bullets, his speed was faster than the wind. The defence officer reloaded his gun when he raised his head the man was nowhere to be seen.
“Where do you people keep your clothes?” a voice asked him form behind.
The officer was startled he fell on ground, the man looked at him and raised his brow, the officer pointed towards a hallway, he went that way.

The emergency force arrived just within few minutes after the last conversation over radio. The force was leaded by Captain Andrew. Captain Andrew headed straight to the portal chamber. As soon as he reached the portal chamber his eyes met the defence officer lying on the floor.
“Four guards on the rear, rest check for casualties.” Andrew commanded. Andrew walked to the Defence officer who was trembling with fear.
“What on the earth happened here?” Andrew asked.
“He.....he is beyond our power.” The defence officer said in a trembling voice.
“Where did he go?” Andrew asked the defence officer. The defence officer was about to answer when one of the rear guards shouted, “Stay put, or we will shoot.”
Everyone turned their eyes towards the hallway. The same man with different clothes on his body was heading their way.
As soon as the defence officer saw the man, his eyes widen in fear, “He..... he is back. Run for your life.”
“Thanks for the clothes. But I couldn’t get out of here, the system is asking for password.” The man said.
“Stay still. We don’t mean harm to you.” Andrew said pointing the gun towards him.
“So the guns are for my protection, I guess.” The man replied and Andrew smirked. “Well, it’s not like you will infest any harm me either. Your friends must have told you about it, haven’t they?” He added looking at the defence officer.
“You are a human, aren’t you? We can sort this out.” Andrew said.
“Well my looks certainly mean that I am one.” The man said touching his clothes, “but i am certainly not one.” The man added giving a stare to Andrew. “Well, there are certain things that I want to talk too. So, lets have a comfortable chat.” The man added.
“I have a place where we can talk it out. Let’s head for it.” Andrew replied, looking the man straight into eye.
