CHAPTER ONE: WHAT A CLICHÉ.

I am going to say this as I have been pretty upset by the person accusing me of copying another writer. 1) I haven't actually read the story in question. Making it hard to have copied it. 2) I get that they may have similar themes from what has been said, but there's no way they are identical books. 3) I think it's ridiculous that this person doesn't seem to understand that sometimes books will have similar themes. I have read plenty that have similarities to each other. I would never accuse those writers who have put themselves out there of plagiarism. I am hurt by this, and it has really knocked my confidence. This was my first book, and now I feel attacked and deflated. I will happily provide proof that the book in question isn't in my reading library.
